We are proud to be carrying on the tradition of candlemaking in Glenelg. Donna Di Mambro Stiven, who started Glenelg Candles back in the eighties, has passed on to us, a truly fantastic company with beautiful products that we can continue to bring to you from our base in Glenelg. We are constantly adding new lines and we are introducing beautiful works from other craft makers in the area.
Glenelg from Eilanreach The peninsula of Glenelg & Arnisdale is one of the most beautiful areas of the Western Highlands of Scotland and is well worth a visit at any time of the year. A mecca for walkers, the mountain landscapes and secluded shorelines here are quite magnificent, and the area boasts remarkable antiquities such as the ancient and enigmatic Broch Towers and the semi ruined Bernera barracks.
Looking towards Eigg
The Glenelg Ferry, links the peninsula to the Isle of Skye. And for the more adventurous of you, Billy MacKenzie is usually available to take you onto the more remote Knoydart peninsula. E-mail us here for details about chartering Billy's boat. If you want a relaxing time or you are a keen walker, Glenelg offers the best of both worlds. Check out the Glenelg & Arnisdale trust site on our links page for details about accommodation in the area. We look forward to seeing you,
Lorraine & Robert Smith
